Course Description & Lesson Notes
Official Video Description:
Hey everyone! Welcome back to another video. In this video, we will create a simple and cute three.js and Blender room portfolio!!!
*IMPORTANT* Make sure to go into 1) edit in the upper left corner 2) preferences 3) system 4) and switch to "CUDA" OR "Optix" and enable your GPU if you've got one! If you're on Mac your settings will probably be different: Select "Metal" instead of "CUDA" if you've got something like an M1 chip. For either device switch the GPU compute as it'll be faster, unless somehow you have a device where your cpu is better.
*IMPORTANT* When baking you typically want to go for .01, I think I did .003 which is a bit too small. If you have UVPackmaster3 you can set a pixel margin, if you're at 4k it should be 32px, at 2k it should be 16px, 1k at 8px etc. Obviously it depends on your use case, but those are recommended ranges!!
46:00 WOOPS, sorry haha! Accidental cut here, use the loop tools addon we installed and with those faces selected 1.) right click 2.) loop tools 3.) circle!
ALSO BLENDER 4.5 UPDATE YOU CAN NOW USE VULKAN INSTERAD OF OPEN GL!!!! IT'S FASTER!
