Today's video is an Easy Ice Dye T-Shirt Tutorial in which You WON'T BELIEVE ONLY 1 COLOR is Used! As always the t-shirt has first been washed and soaked in soda ash (1 cup of soda ash per 1 gallon of warm water) and then spun out in the washer so that the material is damp but not sopping wet. To begin this ice dye tutorial start with the spiraling and securing of the t-shirt using masking tape. After that I apply the fiber reactive procion dye powder on top of the spiraled up t-shirt (color chosen is shown in the video), soda ash on top of the dye powder, and ice right on top of the soda ash. Next I let the t-shirt sit undisturbed for 24 hours, give it a good rinse, and jump right into the reveal of our new 1 color ice dye t-shirt.
