Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Entering Excel Dynamic Arrays with VBA Welcome to MrExcel Netcast! In this episode, we will be diving into the world of Excel Dynamic Arrays and how to enter them using VBA. As many of you know, the new Dynamic Array formulas such as FILTER, SORT, UNIQUE, and SEQUENCE have revolutionized the way we work with data in Excel. But what about using VBA to generate these formulas on the fly? Let's find out! To start, we will use a simple one-line macro in VBA to generate an array with 8 rows and 3 columns, starting at 5 and jumping by 17. However, when we switch back to Excel, we notice that an "@" sign has been added to our formula. What's going on here? Well, it turns out that Excel automatically adds this symbol to indicate that we only want a single value from the array, similar to the SINGLE() function. But don't worry, there's an easy solution to this problem. Instead of using the .Formula method in VBA, we can use .Formula2. This method allows for dynamic arrays and will prevent the "@" sign from being added to our formula. And just like that, our formula is generated without any issues.
